Its been real hectic these past few weeks... with all the preparations and tying down of last-min stuff..really glad that everything went down smoothly..and tt everyone who was supposed to be impressed, was impressed :)
Its really nice & affirming ya noe..like when someone whom you really want to please/ impress turns around to you and give u a pat on the back of sorts..and tells u tt it was a job well done :) Wasnt really expecting it.. but I Couldn't ask for more :D
It also gives me reason to think about stuff in general..Yes..im thinking again..(didnt stop actually :P )... It is pretty much the law of nature in a way... like if you put your heart to something, and chase after it all the way, you are bound to gain something - either at the end, or somewhere along the way...either way, it was time well spent. Besides, if anything screws up along the way, its gonna be merely a lesson to learn from.
So yeah, optimism is key...and perseverance does wonders too :) As the saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'....well, not that times are tough for me now or anything :P
On another note, the father's day event was made extra special due to the presence of a select few :) and thanx a million for helping out, Amanda! Everybody had a good time, the food was good and the sentiments were brought about in a fine way :) There was one special segment where all the men were supposed to write down their commitments towards being better fathers/brothers/sons (people in general)...and the whole symbolic nature was made extra special by the actions of a certain someone there :) Dun intend to elaborate here... :P And all the men received roses..yeah, the men, for a change...It was really sweet..if you were there, and if u were me, you'd understand ;)
P.s. I'll 'take' note...and there's a fine scent in the air...I'm thinking crisp morning air at some orchard near teh Alps..go figure..
