Went for Julia's sch concert today with Chris and Adrian. It wasn't too bad..although the last piece was rather...uique.. The entire lot of performers started laughing, yes, laughing..and proceeded to come down from the stage and head up towards the spectators..it was really unique. Oh well :D Adrian, Chris and I headed down to the gym after tt.. and for me, it was to be the last time workin out with the both of them though..at least for the next year or so la.. Thinking back..it was relly good to have the likes of Chris and Adrian as gym buddies..cos we could juz show off all our 'weaknesses' in all their glory and laugh our asses off at one another :D Gonna miss those fun sessions tt we had over the last few weeks la..but its ok..i've already got a few other pple who expressed interest in joinin me in my quest for fitness ;) haha!
Adrian and I went down to Cineleisure after tt to have lunch and grab the tix for Ghost Rider. And If u haven't watched Ghost Rider yet... You need help :P SERIOUSLY, it was a GOOD show! I gotta say, we were mesmerised by the Visual effects AND cool factor from start to finish! Guess the only downside was the fact tt the writers made the 'Rider' a bit too powerful for his enemies..the fight scenes didn't really have that much of a 'kick'..if ya noe wat i mean :P But all in all, it was $7.50 well spent..and my favourite scene would be the one where the old-school rider and the new-age rider pair up and ride together in the desert..UBER COOL! Fav line? when the new rider tells the old one 'Let's Ride!'..i know, lame AND cliche..but hey, it works la! Watch it, and you'll know :D Really glad tt Sim and I didn't need to have a boy's night out on Val's :D haha! Leonard and Daisy were nice enough to join us for the show. It was funny how we were the last ones to leave the theatre cos we were waiting to see if there was gonna be any short clip or anything after the credits rolled (think XMEN 3 and Shrek 2)..the wardens had to come and 'usher' us out of the place..haha! We headed to the foodcourt after the show and Daisy was tryin her best to watch this drama tt was being shown on CH8..the only problem was tt the volume was really low and the din of the dinner crowd was juz too much. She had enough after a while and turned to us and exclaimed 'Can someone find me a TV that speaks??!!' And I juz burst out laughing..haha! I tried to explain to her tt pple have yet to creatre such wonderful TVs..but she wasn't buying it..hahaha! Sorry man.. :D Was headin home on the same bus as Daisy when Joanna and Daphne boarded the bus. I looked out and saw Melvin walkin away from the bus stop..and I had an idea :D I decided to call melvin and put him on speaker so tt the 4 of us could hear him as he was being punked ;) So i called and told him tt i could see him..and tt i saw him with a girl..and he denied being with a girl and said 'But i'm standing next to a tree!?' Stupid move..the last thing u should do in this kinda situation is give away crucial details like this!! haha! Then i was like ' i know u're next to a tree! look left, i'm there..no, look right..oh sorry, the other right...aiyah, i'm across the street la!' All the while, he was like 'Ah? Where..i dun see u man...umm...WHERE??' HILARIOUS. Felt bad after a while and told him tt we were all on a bus about 2km away..haha! And he replied with something like 'Oh, ok..' LOL!! Poor fella :) Well, guess V day wasn't so bad/lonely after all..good friends, good movie & 1 punked individual = A pretty good day la :)
