Well, here's yet another photo that means a lot to me. Like the earlier one, i took it in India. If i may ask, what does it mean to you?

It has sure been a while since i came by this way. I dunno..guess the initial zest of blogging kinda died down..and coupled with the fact that i stay in camp most of the time with no internet access, guess its understandable.
Well, many things have happened..quite obviously. The highlights of the time from july 05 till now would be, in random order : I made new friends, got into an accident in camp, went to india for an army exercise, witnessed a suicide, grew closer to some of my pals, had my sis leave for australia for further studies, witnessed rain in the DESERT,..and many more that i cant recall. But, most importantly, i grew closer to my God in this time due to the experiences that i shared with Him.. ;)
In all this time...he constantly reassured me of his love and presence in my life by giving me little (sometimes pretty big, 'knock-you-over') experiences each and every day. Of course there were times when i felt all alone, cos i'm human too..but whenever i slowed down and shut off all the noise in my head to make way for Him, there He was..right by my side. If there's one thing i learnt, its that He never lets us down. He never gave up on me..and i'm sure He never will.
In my journey of leading a christian life, I try, day in, day out to be like Christ. And one quality of his that i really hold dear is this 'never give up' attitude that he applied during His ministry. To me, it's really important to stand strong in ur faith and face adversity. We are called to be christans and no one said it was gonna be easy...and at the same time, no one said we are gonna be alone either...This, I now know for sure. Cos there have been times when i've failed to be christian..and as demoralising as it was, everytime i decided to pick myself up and get back on track, there he was to reassure me, to show me a sign telling me that i'm forgiven..that i am His beloved child.
Through all the lessons learnt thus far, i've really learnt that there is no point in giving up on others. Cos no matter how dark times may seem, i always try to remember that the light is out there..cos there's no darkness without light, if u ask me. To me, the satisfaction gained from knowing that i've helped someone experience Christ is more than words can describe..and that alone is encouragement enough, to carry on loving and serving.
On a final note, as much as Christ wants to love us and be a part of our lives, It's only gonna happen if we open ourselves up and give ourselves completely to Him. To me its very important to have simplicity of heart and mind in order to see him in all his glory, in everything around us.
When i take a look at the pic posted here, simply put, i see God in all his glory right there.
